Gill Civil Engineering at Manchester Airport for Taxiway Alpha Echo Rehabilitation

Gill Civil Engineering began the rehabilitation of taxiway Alpha Echo at Manchester Airport in February 2018.

The scope of works at Manchester Airport includes:

  • Installation of 730mm thick type FH dry lean concrete including 2 no. AGL duct crossing.
  • The total area of installation is 7700m2.
  • All concrete is installed and tested in accordance with DIO specification 051.
  • All work on day shifts is carried out in an airside working environment.
