GCEL and Britannia Onsite Concrete carried out overnight repairs (Rapid Strength Gain Concrete) to Continuously Reinforced Concrete Carriageways (CRCP) at three locations on the A419/A417 Cirencester between the 3rd of November 2018 and 18th of November 2018. Work was carried out overnight on weekend closure and carriageway was reopen each morning to traffic.

The scope of work includes:

• Saw cut and core out existing concrete carriageway.

• Lift out existing concrete carriageway using vacuum lifting device and dispose of off-site.

• Expose existing reinforcement and connect to new reinforcement (CRCP) using MBT coupler.

• Reinstatement using PQX concrete.
